We didn’t set out to invent a category.
We were four women from tech and finance trying to keep a restaurant alive in 2020. We made the lunch we wished existed: all the soul of Sichuan cooking, packed into a fast, colorful grain bowl.
Survival mode became a spark.
Cash flow was tight. Offices were empty. So we built a delivery-friendly bowl that traveled well and still tasted alive.
People came back for the feeling.
Heat, crunch, grains, greens. One shop became more across Singapore—and a new kind of fast casual started taking shape.
Now the bowl is crossing oceans.
We’re bringing our first U.S. kitchen to the Bay Area. Same founder-led obsession. New neighborhood. Bigger table.
